The ships each player has chosen are listed below, by power, in the order presented in Section R of the Captain's Edition of the rules. The ship type has the same meaning as in the Master Ship Chart. The ship names were chosen by the players according to their own preferences. The Source column of each table lists the Captain's Edition module in which the ship can be found. The Command Rating is the Federation and Empire command rating. Ship size is the size class from the Master Ship Chart. Both of these two previous items were found useful enough to the players to list here. The ship status lists the current deployment of the ship. Possibilities are:

Individual notes will be listed beneath the forces for each power. Generally these will be an explanation of the ship-naming logic.

Notes on Klingon forces: Klingon naming conventions are a bit easier than Federation ones, but he also went through the rule books looking for the names of Klingon ships. Sorry guys, there is no "Screaming Dizbuster" in this fleet. The Klingons have to replace an F6, an F5L, and two F5Ks. They replace an F5W.

Notes on Gorn forces: Again, I searched the scenarios to find ships. When the Iron Scale was destroyed, I named its successor Steel Scale. Otherwise, I tried to create similar sounding names.

I need to replace a BDD+. I replace my BCH with another MCC. No replacements for me on turn 12.

Note on Tholian forces: Names for ships were provided by Commodore Brezgonne and Wing Commander "Mr. Tholian" Kotheme of the TWS Conqueror and THS Protector, respectively. Vir provided his own name for the minesweeper.

The Tholians need to replace the NCA, 2xNCL, and a DDP. They can not use Neo-Tholian ships as replacements. Any Neo ship replaced must be replaced by an Archeo ship of equal or lesser BPV.

Notes on Orion forces: In many ways, the above reference is incomplete for the Orion pirates. Option mounts for all ships make them look somewhat different than the base ship listed above. All Orion ships are outfitted by the Pharaoh Cartel so their option percentages are: Federation: 70%, Klingon and Romulan: 20%, Other: 10%. Ships with the "-C" appendage carry cloaks. Ship names were chosen from the manuals and whatever "Cat" wanted made up, with one exception: I named the "Les Invisibles" -a BoC reference.

Notes on WYN forces: most of these ships were added to Unity by the module C3. Prior to that, the WYN commitment consisted of the OCR and OLRs. Noticing that WYN ships tended to carry female names, I decided to make up my own. Who could resist Xena for the biggest ship in the fleet? For the rest, I chose several female names from one of my favorite series of books: The Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny.
